Reporting to the Digital Marketing Executive, you will work closely with the business heads to plan and execute marketing activities in line with the business objectives.

The role and requirements:

  • Keen to learn and a desire to kick start your career in marketing
  • Create engaging content and campaigns for Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, including social media advertising, email marketing, display ads, SEO, and pay per click
  • Liaise with colleagues to gain relevant and key details for social media content
  • Identify market trends, plan campaigns, and use web analytic tools to measure the performance of activity
  • Ensure that websites remain fresh and up to date with the creation of relevant content
  • Support SEO management and content optimisation
  • Assist with preparing and producing monthly reports on the performance of marketing campaigns

Your skills and experience:

  • Educated to a degree level in marketing or a marketing related subject
  • Confident and proactive
  • Enjoys interaction with people at all levels
  • Ability to “think outside the box” and use initiative to bring new ideas to the table
  • Must have a keen eye for detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Research and analysis skills
  • Team player, enjoy working with people and contributing ideas and content, while also having the ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Experience in /proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite beneficial
  • Experience in a similar role beneficial, but not essential

The role is based at Thainstone Centre – 15 minutes north of Aberdeen City Centre, and directly accessible from the main A96.  The Centre is near Kintore railway station and is on the direct bus route from Aberdeen City Centre.  An element of flexible and remote working would be considered.
