Leading member-owned co-operative turns in strong trading year

Posted: April 18, 2026

Increases in turnover, profit and returns to members have defined another strong trading year at one of Scotland’s largest co-operatives.

In publishing its annual report and accounts for the year to December 31st, 2025, Thainstone-based ANM Group reported a 20% increase in turnover to £13,875,000 and trading profit of £2,772,000, up from last year’s £1,511,000, resulting in an increased dividend rate of 4 – 5% paid to members.

The Group’s co-operative status has delivered a member benefits package returning £918,000 in commission savings with average commission rates of 3.39%, well below the industry average of 4%.  The annual report also confirms £265,000 of dividend payment to members, with an additional 89 trading members joining the Group during the year.

Commenting on the figures, ANM Group Chief Executive Grant Rogerson said: “These results reflect a positive year for the Group, with growth in both turnover and profit, while continuing to return value directly to our members through competitive commission rates and dividend payments.

“I am incredibly proud of my team’s hard work and dedication in delivering such a strong performance. In a year where costs have remained high across the sector, that has not been straightforward, and the team deserve credit for how they have responded.”

He added: “Our 2025 figures reflect the resilience of the Group, and we remain committed to building on the progress made to date, with our focus on strategic priorities and a commitment to continuing to grow the business delivering success and return for our members.”

ANM Group Chairman Mike Macaulay added: “As a board we welcome these results, which reflect a year of progress across the Group building significantly on previous years and are testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.

“The performance delivered  across the Group in 2025 provides a strong platform for future success, positioning us to move forward with confidence and optimism.”

The Group’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 28th April 2026 at 2pm in the Bothy Function Suite, Thainstone Centre, Inverurie. All members are welcome.
