Health and Safety Officer (12-month fixed-term)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health and Safety Officer to join our team on a part-time basis for a 12-month fixed-term.  
 
ANM Group is one of Scotland’s leading farming co-operatives with annual sales exceeding £100 million, and more than 400,000 head of livestock handled each year. The group has interests in the land market, commercial and industrial plant, machinery and equipment and the catering and hospitality industry. 
 
Based at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie, this senior role involves supporting the six divisions of the business, and the executive team, in the delivery of the group’s health and safety strategy, as well as assisting with the development of health and safety practices in a busy and diverse working environment.  
 
Working three days per week, you will be responsible for providing support and advice to the executive team and managers including:
 
•             Ensuring the group is up-to-date with any changes in health and safety legislation
•             Ensuring health and safety compliance is achieved
•             Reporting health and safety to the executive team
•             Managing and co-ordinating health and safety meetings
•             Managing and arranging training
 
If you have experience of working in a similar role in a medium to large organisation and hold IOSH Managing Safely, or NEBOSH General Certificate or above, then we’d like to hear from you.
 
A full UK driving licence and your own transport are essential.
